Currently an 18-year-old undeclared freshman at UC Berkeley, though I consider myself a potential physics major. I am presently on personal leave for the semester (don't worry, no disabling or contagious illnesses), and thought tutoring would be a productive use of my time. While in Berkeley, I took Calculus II, Physical Anthropology, Ethical Philosophy, and Music history, with a GPA of 3.6. While on personal leave, I am taking classes in sociology and multivariable calculus at Cosumnes River Community College.
Experience
My tutoring experience is somewhat limited, having only done a couple of short-term jobs, but I have informally helped many of my peers throughout high school. Hobbies
I'm an avid guitarist and music lover, and am amassing an ever-growing record collection. I enjoy reading philosophy and watching horror movies, but not simultaneously. I LOVE coffee. I am fond of humor and puns, and will exercise those in a constructive, engaging manner while tutoring. I try not to be overly pedagogical, as this, at least in my experience, is counterproductive to the student's immersion in the subject and hinders his or her enthusiasm for it.
